Meet the GSAC Team:
President and Founder of GS Aviation Consulting Inc.
Glenna Sharratt is our Senior Flight Operation Consultant with over 30 years of aviation experience as a pilot, consultant, inspector and auditor.
Glenna started her aviation career working as a pilot for a construction company and then she joined Perimeter Aviation Ltd. At Perimeter she taught multi/IFR eventually becoming the CFI, and then flew as a charter and line pilot on Beechcraft Queen Airs and Swearingen Metros.
In 1983, Glenna joined Transport Canada as a Civil Aviation Inspector. She worked in various offices including those in Winnipeg, Vancouver, Richmond and Victoria. Her expertise incorporates a breadth of knowledge in Aeronautical Information Services, Aircraft Registration, Instrument Standards, and Commercial and Business Aviation. Glenna has been the Principle Operations Inspector for a number of 703 fixed-wing companies, conducting hundreds of Instrument Flight Tests and Pilot Proficiency Checks. She has also served as an auditor of 703, 704 and 705 air operators in the Pacific Region.
In 2003, after 20 years as an Aviation Safety Inspector, Glenna retired from the government to pursue consulting. Now, she works within the aviation industry bridging the knowledge gap between air operators and Transport Canada. She continues to perfect her series of fixed-wing and rotary-wing operations manuals while ensuring ongoing compliance for her clients. She finds that working with the aviation industry is, truly, most rewarding.
